To provide Dominican priests and brothers with relief in necessitous circumstances caused by sickness, old age and retirement whether as a result of old age or infirmity on medical grounds. Dominican priests and brothers by virtue of their vow of poverty have not received an income of their own during their lifetime of service to the community and as such are not able to provide for themselves in such necessitous circumstances.
