Our productions value young people as artists, supporting them with mentorship from experienced professionals, and elevating their work to a level of outstanding quality. From the initial spark of an idea, to the first day of rehearsal, to the final bow of production, we drive social transformation through a dynamic artistic practice and an inclusive youth-led approach to creative expression. We empower our young people to advocate for both their social and artistic agency, and to tell brand new stories for every new generation. 

Canberra Youth Theatre prioritises new work which puts young people at its heart, with no cost for participation. We want to keep it that way.
