Here at Gembrook, we believe that by practising simplicity, community and contemplation in relationship with the land, we can equip and encourage each other to live a soulful life.
For over 20 years a small group of residents and other volunteers have done regenerative land care -tending to 22 acres of native bush, orchards, flowers and fields, seeing lyrebirds, frogs, Blue Tongue lizards, wallabies and wombats return to the land.
To create and enhance long term value for business sustainability, community continuity, and the ongoing flourishing of the project, we have identified that a particular focus of the next three years needs to be to continue developing the sites eco-building projects to enable more people to experience visiting the land (especially around retreat experiences). All our development plans have embedded principles of sustainability and simplicity, utilising recycled materials and renewable energy.
With your donation we can create a more sustainable land management program, create welcoming and accessible spaces for our guests, and have capacity to get more volunteers involved.
Thanks for being part of what we’re building together.
STEPPING INTO THIS CABIN ON DAY ONE, I FELT MY WORLDLY RESPONSIBILITIES MELT AWAY. CALMNESS CAME OVER ME, QUICKLY, I COULD FINALLY HEAR MY OWN VOICE AGAIN. THANK YOU FOR THIS TIME. I FEEL CONNECTED TO MYSELF, THE SOUL-WORLD, IN A WAY THAT I HAVEN’T IN SO LONG. THANK YOU FOR THIS GIFT OF SOLITUDE.
