Please give generously today to help find effective treatments for the Hereditary Spastic Paraplegias (HSPs) - inherited, degenerative disease affecting mainly the legs, causing spasticity, muscle weakness and severely impairing walking.

The HSP Research Program is a great investment in the future of those with HSP, their families and loved ones and those children of tomorrow who are at risk of being born with HSP.

We are an all-volunteer Foundation. 99 cents in every dollar you give goes directly to fund HSP research. Gifts of $2 or more are tax-deductible.

The HSP Research Foundation is an incorporated, registered Australian charity ABN 46648875912 that facilitates and funds research to find a cure for Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia (HSP) an inherited, degenerative disease affecting mainly the legs, causing muscle weakness, spasticity and severely impairing walking. The Foundation is also the community hub for HSPers in Australia, creating awareness and providing support and education.
