The Newcastle Men’s Shed is a Not for Profit Self Funded Health Promotion organisation in search of a new home. Faced with the prospect of having to pay full commercial rent, which will challenge our sustainability, we are reaching out to the Community for financial assistance to ensure that the Newcastle Men’s Shed remains a Community Asset.
By becoming a Community Partner you will enable the Newcastle Men’s Shed to enter into a Commercial arrangement knowing that we can meet the rent and contribute to our long-term goal of building or buying our own premises by 2025. Something that will truly be Community owned.
All monies from our Community Partners and the Sheds own targeted fundraising activities will be held in a Community Partners account and shall only be used to ensure our rental obligations are meet and only be expended on the costs associated with the purchase of or building of new premises.
