Punctum is a small arts organisation based regionally on the unceded lands of the Djaara People whose cultural authority informs our relationships and connection to place.
In their many creative expressions, we understand that our productions and programs offer hope and safe regional spaces to grow relationships, a sense of belonging, trust, networks, and professional trajectories to employment and leadership.
Your donation will allow us to continue working to generate positive change, social cohesion, and resilience in our challenging times.
In 2024 Punctum is celebrating 20 years of joy, commitment and contribution to regional arts in Australia.
In our 20th year we invite you to join us in contributing to our most ambitious endeavour in 20 years - to generate 20 new works by 20 regional artists across the next 20 months.
That’s 20 singular creative relationships each ensuring that regional arts are a key part of the national arts dialogue and regional opportunity thrives.
We invite you to make any contribution you can to help us champion remarkable regional works with regional artists, audiences and communities. All gifts, big or small, are greatly appreciated. Contributions over $2 are tax deductible.
$20 – a regional artist participates in our regional Lab intensive and develops a new work concept
$200 – a regional artist undertakes one of Punctum’s mentored regional residencies and tests their new work concept with regional participants and audiences
$2000 – an artist creates a new work following their residency via a commission with Punctum and our national partners and brings it to audiences.

Punctum is located on the unceded lands of the Djaara people of the Kulin Nation – the traditional custodians of the land and waterways where we live and work, and for whom time and space is a continuum informing all we do and who we are. We acknowledge the Djaara people’s living culture, their long and rich history of making on Country, their sovereignty and right to self-determination. We pay our respects to their elders past and present and extend this respect to all First Nations people.
