The Remote Indigenous Gardens Network, established in 2009, is now a core Foodswell program that delivers communications, networking support, technical advice and other services to support local food production in and by remote communities for better health, wealth and wellbeing.
What we do
Deliver the RIG News services to over 5000 people and organisations - success stories, technical resources, useful contacts, coming events and program linkages.
Facilitate partnerships, events and workshops to help people design and deliver stronger community garden projects and outcomes.
Facilitate a contacts network and 'hub' via the RIGN website, RIGN Facebook and Foodswell RIG News to help people to share information, hear what's going on in other communities and together, build better practice and provide continuity amid changing policy, funding and other changes.
