Companion Animals Welfare Inc (CAWI) cares for lost, abandoned, surrendered and mistreated animals. Local pounds cannot cope with the inflow of animals; rangers struggle to find new homes for the animals that come into their care.
CAWI aims specifically to provide care and find homes for these animals and does so at the present time, by placing dogs solely into foster care within the local community. This is in preference to placing the dogs into kennels. CAWI has been able to place hundreds of dogs into permanent homes. Rescue groups such as CAWI play a vital role and we aim specifically to provide care and find homes for these animals. CAWI does so at the present time, by placing dogs solely into foster care within the local community. This is in preference to placing the dogs into kennels. CAWI also promotes responsible pet ownership and we provide information to the general public on the welfare and prevention of cruelty to animals.
Your donation will help with the fostering costs as well as with de-sexing, vet treatments, food and kennelling costs associated with re-homing. CAWI also assists with training and advice to ensure a happy and smooth adoption process; happy owners make happy pets.
Stories of neglect, abandonment and abuse are regrettably common but CAWI emphasises a different story: we have successfully rehabilitated many needy animals and matched them with new owners, taking pleasure in seeing dogs and cats settle contentedly with their new family and enjoy a good life.
Any donation you can make will help us to continue this work.
