The incoming NDIS is going to be of great benefit to many people with disabilities, however WALCA will lose the funding that we currently receive to maintain our facilities.

Our participants are too vulnerable and frail to be out in the community as they require specialised equipment such as ceiling hoists, standing frames and commode chairs on a daily basis to keep healthy and safe.

WALCA provides services for people who have Multiple Exceptionalities (physical, intellectual and health challenges) aged from 18 to 64. Competent, well-trained staff focus on a person-centred approach and provide support across the spectrum from mealtime management, positioning, behaviour support, independent living, learning and social skills, recreation and interaction and independence in the community.
