Located at the heart of Melbourne’s oldest suburb since 1855, this Fitzroy institution lives on as an important meeting place for our rich and diverse community. However, the Parish Hall is now in need of urgent repairs in order to serve the community for future generations.
All Saints Parish Hall is on the Victorian Heritage Register (H2172) and is of architectural and historical significance as a rare example of a prefabricated iron building made in Liverpool and brought to Victoria.
For many years, it served the Methodist Church and since the 1960s has served as the meeting place for the wave of immigrants who called Fitzroy home. During Covid, the Parish Hall served as an emergency distribution centre.
