To support the work of the Australian Refugee Association (ARA) which is dedicated to helping refugees settle in Australia with dignity, and achieve their aspirations and opportunities in life. ARA provides a comprehensive range of support, information, advice, advocacy and counselling for refugees and asylum seekers.

How will funds be used?

Your donation will be used to assist refugees and migrants of similar backgrounds by helping them to settle and fully establish themselves in Australia. This assistance may include help with finding accommodation, teaching English, finding employment, and organising social activities. ARA offers legal advice; help with migration issues and dealing with government agencies, as well as providing material assistance for new arrivals. The association also contributes to government policy-making and raising public awareness about refugee-related issues.

Through its staff and volunteers, in a number of ways, ARA is helping refugees settle and begin their new life in South Australia.
