Ballet Theatre Queensland, a not-for-profit organisation, survives on box office sales and volunteer labour alone. To continue providing first class professionally staged productions for Queensland's young talented dancers, we therefore invite you to be part of the creative process, by supporting the recreation of our beautiful sets and costumes for our January 2024 season of The Sleeping Beauty.
Your support will help dreams come true for aspiring young dancers, as the company continues to offer valuable, and unique opportunities to talented young dancers of south-east Queensland.
Here's some idea of what your generous donation could support:
$25 - 2 kg sequins and seed beads, or 3 cans of spray-paint
$50 - trim and crystals for one tutu, or materials for one small set piece
$100 - 4 metres delustred satin for 3 tutus
$200 - one roll of tulle
$250 - material for one tutu
