The Bass Coast Community Foundation aims to strengthen our local communities, increase community resilience, and improve the wellbeing of Bass Coast residents. Using evidence and an early intervention approach, we aim to identify and address inequities and disadvantage in our region.

Our focus is on building community partnerships, growing our knowledge and networks, strengthening impact in the community, and advocating for issues that are important for Bass Coast.

Our current priority areas include:

• increasing the aspirations of our young people through skills, knowledge and learning;
• providing opportunities for local women and girls; and
• advocating to reduce the incidence of homelessness and housing stress

Since 2002 over one million dollars has been distributed by the Foundation to Bass Coast charitable projects, individuals and organisations.

Bass Coast Community Foundatoin is a local charitable organisation governed by a voluntary Board of Directors.
