Emergency relief is one of the largest areas of support we offer at BayCISS.  Over the past 12 months, we have begun to see a major increase in the number of people presenting as homeless visiting our agency.  Whilst we love to be busy, this is a concerning trend and a challenge for an agency such as ours.

To be able to amply assist these people, we are forced to think outside the box a little with many of our usual supplies inappropriate for distribution to this specific demographic.

Restricted access to cooking & cleaning facilities as well as basic needs means that we are always looking for new and innovative ways to provide adequate supports with restricted funds available.

With the onset of winter, we expect a spike in the need for our services and we would certainly like to be prepared!
