Bayside friends and Salesian Missions Australia work in partnership to support young people in Timor Leste through education and health. Activities undertaken include:
Currently Emergency
We are raising emergency relief funds to assist victims seeking refuge from the devastating floods and landslides in the capital Dili which has claimed at least 14 lives, destroying roads, bridges and over 500 houses. The Salesians School in Comoro (Don Bosco Technical Centre) has opened its doors as a designated emergency relief centre, accommodating over 3,000 locals who are seeking refuge due to being displaced or losing homes.
How will the funds be used?
The funds will be used to provide relief support to the many who seek refuge and assistance in the affected region with food, clothing, medical care, hygiene supplies and shelter.
