With your support, we present free chamber music concerts, engage musicians to perform in regional communities, commission South Australian composers, and support South Australian chamber musicians.
We are so grateful to everyone who supports this work. Whether you bought a ticket, attended a free concert, donated your time, gave a gift of money, or encouraged an artist with kind words and applause, your support for musicians brings them joy and everyone who experiences their music.
Last year, audiences for On The Terrace in 2023 increased by 50% with more than 40 musicians performing to delighted crowds. The musicians were thrilled as they rely on audiences’ applause, and the fees we pay, to sustain them. Importantly, because of your support, cultural and civic organisations including the Art Gallery of South Australia, SA Museum, State Library and City of Adelaide increased their support. On The Terrace is perfect for families and its FREE!
If you can, we would love to count on your support with a donation towards On The Terrace on Sunday 3 November 2024.
Every donation makes a big impact, no matter the size. To give you some idea: $554 is a musician’s fee to prepare, rehearse and perform at On The Terrace; $3878 is the fee for an ensemble of 7 musicians; $660 covers the cost of tuning a piano; $2200 supports visually impaired audiences and instrument touch tours; $23 contributes to seating for people with mobility needs (such as our elderly or parents with young children); $44 goes towards to audio engineers to record the concerts.
Together, we connect people through music, and that makes a big difference to our collective wellbeing.
Thank you again for making the world a better place.
