Bear Cottage, an initiative of The Children's Hospital at Westmead, is the only children's hospice in NSW. Part of the Sydney Children's Hospitals Network, fundraising for Bear Cottage is managed by Sydney Children's Hospitals Foundation.
Children with terminal illnesses and their families can stay for respite, medical care or end of life care in a warm, caring home-like environment.
Located on Sydney's Northern Beaches, Bear Cottage is a medically supported home away from home. Every child and family enjoys the time they have together to the fullest, creating precious and lasting memories to be treasured.
