Modern medicine provides the treatment for the physical concern, but yoga and meditation can support the emotional and mental impacts of a cancer diagnosis and the ongoing treatment. 

However, there are specific challenges and concerns post surgery or during cycles of chemo, where the yoga needs to be adapted to suit the individual. It is vital that people are surrounded by others who understand all that is being felt and guided caringly by a teacher who has lived experience of what they are experiencing.

So we have put together a program to offer free yoga led by a teacher with lived experience in Brisbane. We will roll out these clases in May 2022 and need your help to keep them going.
