We have a proven success record, with ten years of experience. The positive impact of CGQ's efforts in 2021 is embodied in a high tenancy sustainment rate of 84%. Moreover, some of our tenants significantly recovered from their previous hardships and embarked on a new life path: They obtained employment and developed social bonds; reintegrated into the local community. CGQ success is not exclusively embodied in stats, though, it is expressed in a feeling our tenants have not felt for long periods.

Female tenant, 31-40 age group - "I am extremely grateful to live in such a secure building, as I was being stalked in the latter part of last year, and I know I am safe here as people are not simply allowed to come and go". Tenants' security is of a higher priority as some of them still suffer from the traumas they experience due to the danger they faced while rough sleeping. The concierge service that comprises a security guard and a support worker at the CGQ building located in South Brisbane is a powerful means to ensure tenants' sense of security.

Male tenant, 41-50 age group - "The fact that you know it's not a boarding house, when I go in and shut my door it's my own little world. It's beautiful". This testimony reaffirms the crucial rule of the permanent aspect of the CGQ housing model, which provides a sense of stability and safety to people that have not felt secure for long periods.
