OUR MISSION

To serve the marginalised, less fortunate, socially isolated people in our community 

by providing food for Their Bodies, Kindness for Their Souls, &

Uplifting of their Spirit. 

Our aim is more than provide a hot meal, but also to CONNECT with the community and the people within, SERVE and care for people's needs and to BUILD people up.

Through our regular contact with our patrons, we can support them through building positive relationships, offering friendship, a listening ear, and referrals to other community programs.

With the support of our contributors, we are able to provide our patrons with varying produce, breads and other types of groceries each week.

We Believe That:

• Everyone who comes through our door is welcome at our table, regardless of their circumstance
• Everyone should be treated with care, dignity and respect, and each one is our guest
• While feeding our guests a meal is our primary objective, gentle conversations and company are equally important
• Our volunteers and contributors/supporters are essential to our success
• We strive to ensure every volunteer and guest has a positive and safe encounter with 'compass canteen'
