For over 25 years, Cornerstone Centre in Dandenong has strongly demonstrated its commitment to supporting people within the local community. By aiming to meet the practical, social and spiritual needs of individuals in challenging situations, we provide a safe environment which fosters a sense of  belonging, growth and healing. We care for, and cater to those suffering family violence, mental health challenges, drug dependency, homelessness, poverty and social isolation.  

A registered charity founded to meet the needs of the people of Greater Dandenong, Casey and beyond, Cornerstone provides home-cooked meals, food parcels and a variety of educational and support programs.

Our range of services encompass: 

·       Healthy meals in a safe environment; 

·       Pastoral care, support and referral information; 

·       Material aid, including food parcels and other practical items; 

·       Social inclusion where people come to meet and talk;

·      Community nurses attend;

·      Additional Community Night Meal with Lions Club Supper Club)– 5.30pm;

·      Special ATO breakfast (staff volunteering);

·      Avalon Centre Second-Hand Clothing ;

·      Free Eye Screening and low cost glasses;

·      Orange Sky: Mobile clothes- washing service;

·      ‘One Dish at Time’ life-skills cooking program;

To enable us to continue supporting people within our community, your support via sponsorship, donations (both material and monetary) and volunteer hours is essential.

Home cooked meal: $20.00

Food parcel small: $30.00

Food parcel large: $50.00

Sponsor a staff member to provide meals and pastoral care:  $50.00 per week

Sponsor the establishment of the "From little things big things grow community garden:  $50.00 per week

YOUR Name on Our Van! - essential we have a vehicle that can cater to collect food and use for other project eg community garden.  Van costs petrol, insurance, registration, maintenance: $40 per week 

Building Lease Payment - $350 per week
