Courage to Care is a not-for-profit organisation delivering Upstander Programs to schools, workplaces and organisations across Victoria.

Founded on the belief that ordinary people have the power to become everyday heroes, our Upstander Programs take inspiration from real-life acts of courage. And in doing so, we prompt people to make a real difference in their community. 

Courage to Care uses lessons from past atrocities and genocides such as the Holocaust to educate on the dangers of racism, prejudice and discrimination. By extension, our program promotes participants to stand up in the face of injustice – and advocate an inclusive, diverse society. 

Our work relies on the efforts of a dedicated team of passionate volunteers who deliver our Upstander Programs at no cost to schools.
