I am taking part in Paint The Town Red and raising funds for Arrow Bone Marrow Transplant Foundation because I am inspired by their work. 

Three divas, who like to disco dance. That’s me (Lisa) and my friends Daniela and Ineke. Friends who have kept me dancing through thick and thin.

There’s nothing we’d rather do than paint the town red any day, but especially for Arrow.

As a bone marrow transplant recipient of nearly 40 years (for acute lymphoblastic leukaemia), I well know the wonderful impact Arrow’s work can have on bone marrow transplant patients and their families. 

The experience also taught me to seize any opportunity to kick up one’s dance heels and celebrate life.

So this event is for dancing queens, kings, and any and all the village people aged over 40 with a love for a dance. And we will be in bed by 10!

We hope you’ll join us for some red hot stuff on the dance floor. Because we will never 'fade to grey’. 

But if you are too young or you can’t make it, then if you could spare a dollar or two towards our disco night so it goes off with a loud beat and a bang, that would be much appreciated.
