We are raising funds for 3CR Community Radio

This year, we’re Celebrating 50 Years of community broadcasting. For 50 years, 3CR has been a dedicated, independent voice for the community. We broadcast the issues that matter, the struggles we share, and the victories we win together.

But we can’t do it without you.

Our show, Raise the Roof, is the only show dedicated to older people’s housing issues. We have had a great line up of shows in the past year, covering rental laws, public housing, heatwaves, the high rise redevelopment, fires, floods, groundbreaking research and historic fines for dodgy landlords! We’ve heard from older people in Queensland, South Australia, NSW, Western Australia and Victoria,  and from older renters, public housing tenants, retirement residents, older women, people from non-English speaking backgrounds and people living in regional areas.
