Most of Australia's most endangered species go unnoticed. The Leadbeater's possum is one of them, most of Australia don't even know these cute little creatures exist! How does this animal have any chance of survival if most of the nation doesn't even know it lives? The Leadbeater's Possum is a small yet agile possum native and endemic to Australia. They may just be the cutest possum around yet they are facing extinction at an alarming rate. Only between five and ten thousand furry individuals still survive today, and due to increased threats like logging and bushfires their numbers are decreasing. But you can help, by donating to the Friends of The Leadbeater's Possum charity you are directly helping to save this adorable species from extinction. If you are not in a position to donate the next best option is to share this CrowdRaiser's page link with friends and family.
