On Saturday, 24 October, I’ll be taking on my 8th Hawkesbury Canoe Classic, a gruelling 111km overnight paddle from Windsor to Mooney Mooney along Sydney’s magnificent Hawkesbury River.
For 12–13 hours straight, I’ll be paddling through the night with my good mate, Jonny Katz, who is tackling his second Classic. Together, we'll be pushing ourselves to the limit in a double ocean kayak.
Last year, we completed the course in 12 hours and 24 minutes. This year, we’re chasing an ambitious goal: breaking the 12-hour barrier!
The physical challenge is significant, but it pales in comparison to the challenges faced by people undergoing bone marrow and stem cell transplants.
That’s why I’m paddling to raise funds for the Arrow Bone Marrow Foundation, which supports patients and families through critical research, patient care programs, and improvements in treatment and outcomes.
Your support will make a real difference.
Every donation helps Arrow continue its life-changing work and provides hope to people facing some of the toughest battles imaginable.
All donations are tax-deductible.
Please support my paddle and this incredible cause.
Every kilometre is easier knowing people are backing this cause. 🚣♂️🙏
