On Saturday 25th January, I shaved my hair in support of my Big Cousin who was diagnosed with a rare Endometrial Cancer late last year (2024).
In her honour, I am raising funds for Cherish Women's Cancer Foundation. Their mission is to raise awareness and fund clinical research that results in treatments for women with gynaecological cancer.
Each year over 6,700 Australian women and girls are diagnosed with gynaecological cancer and this number is increasing each year. Almost a third will not survive their disease.
