I am one of the founding members of a new charity called MBC Action Australia. We advocate for people with metastatic breast cancer to received better care and support for what is ultimately a life-limiting disease. For my end of the bargain, I will be swimming in the "Sydney Heads 4000" on Sunday 9 March. It is a 4km swim from Little Manly Beach to Camp Cove Beach near Watsons Bay. It will be a "challenging" swim, given I'm swimming across the mouth of the Harbour, and will likely be thinking about the prospect of encountering a bull shark on my way!
