Welcome to the donation page set up in loving memory of Moira Loades who passed away on 15 October 2024.

Moira was a proud deaf woman who believed in helping others and in the importance of deaf people having control over deaf support groups. 

During her life, Moira was involved in the campaigns for the establishment of the National Relay Service and captioning of the news on the ABC. Moira continued to follow and support the work of Deaf Australia, advocating for the rights of Deaf people, a cause she strongly believed in.
