The Friends of the Helmeted Honeyeater have made significant strides in protecting Victoria's critically endangered bird by improving the habitat of the Helmeted Honeyeater and raising public awareness about its plight.

At Yarra Valley Water we’re also committed to doing our part to protect the Helmeted Honeyeater. Our habitat restoration project at the Upper Yarra Treatment Plant will blend woodland and wetland environments, and use recycled water to create a sustainable habitat where these precious species can thrive.

But there's still more that can be done to support the Friends of the Helmeted Honeyeater to save these beautiful birds. 

That’s why I’ve signed up for the Great CEO Plant Out, to raise funds for the revegetation of Burrungma Biik, near Woori Yallock and Cockatoo Creeks in Yellingbo.
