15 years of advocacy – and we’re just getting started!  
 
This year is CYDA’s 15th birthday, and we want to invite you to be part of something special to celebrate! 
For 15 years, we have been fighting for an Australia where children and young people with disability can fully exercise their rights, realise their aspirations, and thrive.  
 
Our new campaign – #CYDA15 – aims to unite our community around the important work still to come.  
 

How can you get involved?  
 
We are looking for a group of 1000 amazing donors to make sure our next 15 years are even stronger.  
 
Donate as little as $15 – or one dollar for each year of our advocacy – to get involved. 
 
Your support will help us to: 
- Fight for key reforms, including in education, employment, and the NDIS 
- Lead national and international advocacy, including at the United Nations 
- Build up the next generation of disability leaders through initiatives like CYDA’s Young Leaders Program 
- Amplify youth voices around Australia at events like CYDA’s National Youth Disability Summits  
 
We know budgets are tight right now, so please only donate if you can afford it. 
 If you have the capacity, you can choose to set up recurring monthly payments to CYDA or donate a larger amount. 
 
CYDA’s achievements are shared by our whole community and every contribution helps.  
 

The year ahead 
 
2025 is shaping up to be a critical year for disability rights.  
Changes to the NDIS, major policy reforms, and a Federal Election are all on the calendar, which is why we need your support now more than ever.
