Help Us Keep Pets Healthy & Loved This Christmas
Christmas is a time of giving; it can also be a time that is particularly challenging for many people, particularly those who are experiencing homelessness.
For people experiencing homelessness, life is often shaped by overwhelming hardship, isolation, and marginalisation and their pets become more than companions; they are lifelines, offering unconditional love, emotional support, and a sense of purpose. Yet, the joy of pet ownership can bring immense financial strain with many of these devoted owners sacrificing their own needs to prioritise the wellbeing of their beloved pet, often at great personal cost. That's where Pets In The Park steps in.
Through a national network of free monthly veterinary clinics powered by dedicated volunteer professionals, we provide life-changing care to the pets of people experiencing homelessness. From vaccinatins and parasite control to life-saving treatments, we ensure that pets stay healthy, loved, and cared for - while easing the burden on their owners. Each year, our work touches thousands of lives across Australia, fostering the wellbeing of pets and their owners alike. Your support makes this possible. By donating, you're not just funding veterinary care - you're protecting the unbreakable bond between a person and their pet, giving them hope, dignity, and a brighter future.
Double the Joy This Christmas: Your Gift Will Be Matched!
Our Christmas Appeal is particularly special: We are incredibly excited (and grateful) to announce The Phil Taylor Foundation has pledged to match all contributions up to $20,000 to effectively double the impact of every gift made! This means that for every dollar you donate, an additional dollar will be provided, giving us twice the fundraising resources.
With your help, we can make the most of this opportunity. Every contribution, no matter the size, will go twice as far, and together we can make a difference for those who need it most!
Help support this cause by creating your own 'CrowdRaiser' fundraising page.
