DSACC provides an opportunity that allows those with a disability to experience the quientessential Australian past time of surfing, a pastime that abled bodied take for granted. Our aim is to put "smiles on dials".
Establised in 2005, the Central Coast branch caters for local residents with all types of disabilities and increasingly participants from the Sydney metropolitan area. DSA is surfing's only registered charity dedicated to those with a disability.
As a fully volunteer organisation, all donations go toward providing a safe and happy experiance for our participants and volunteers by ensuring the best possible equipment, the upkeep of our trailer and provisions for four events per season at Umina Beach and Toowoon Bay. Our volunteers supervised by Team Leaders and Beach Marshalls love what they do and will show up rain or shine to ensure our surfers have a great day. Without any funding except for the occasional grant, donations allow us to continue providing this invaluable experience.
