When we rescued Toto, the tiny grey-and-white dog above from a country pound, she was so weak she could barely stand... today she goes jogging with her two-legged dad. Smudge the tabby kitten was dumped without his mummy at only a few days old. We took him in and found him a forever home.

   These are just two of the hundreds of lives our tireless volunteers save every year.

WHO ARE WE?

Forever Friends Animal Rescue Inc (FFAR) is a fully volunteer-run charity dedicated to the rescue and rehoming of homeless animals in need, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

WHAT DO WE DO?

We save homeless dogs, cats, puppies and kittens from death-row in pounds and shelters and place them in loving foster homes around Victoria.

We have a 'no breed discrimination' policy and save the old as well as the young; the rejected and the abused; the sick; the blind; the frightened pregnant dogs and cats; orphan puppies and kittens needing bottle-feeding around the clock; and they stay in foster care until they are ready to be adopted - as long as it takes.

Each rescue pet receives all the medical and behavioural care they need to prepare them for adoption and we guarantee we will always take a rehomed pet back into our care if needed - we are committed to each rescue pet for the remainder of their life.

WHAT CAN YOU DO?

• $40 will pay for a homeless pet's vaccination
• $60 will pay for a homeless pet's microchip and worm treatment
• $85 will pay for a homeless cat's desexing
• $100 will pay for a homeless dog's desexing
• $150 will save the life of a homeless cat or kitten awaiting rescue
• $250 will save the life of a homeless dog or puppy awaiting rescue
