Gather & Graze in conjunction with Power Tynan Charitable Trust raising funds for Protea Place.

Protea Place is a women's support centre that provides support, dignity and safety to vulnerable women in the Darling Downs region. 

They have been selected by the Gather & Graze 2024 committee because of the incredible work they do and their long term plans to expand the reach and impact of their service. 

Protea Place currently offers vulnerable women access to Hot Lunches, tea and coffee, showers, laundry service, clothing boutique, Toiletries and hygiene products and telephone, internet and wifi access. With the additional funds raised through Gather & Graze they hope to expand their facility and purchase land they can operate out of. This will ensure Protea Place continues to thrive in our community.
