The new Port Phillip EcoCentre is more than just a building. It’s a powerful platform for education, action and innovation — a place where people of all ages and backgrounds come together to protect nature and respond to the climate crisis.

Why we need your help
The new EcoCentre triples our community and education spaces — but facilities alone won’t create change. To meet rising community demand, the imperatives of climate change and to scale up our impact, we urgently need additional funding for: 

• More programs and workshops on environment and mitigating climate change 
• Original research and citizen science
• Environmental leadership training
• Outreach with local schools and community groups

What is the EcoCentre Giving Circle?
The EcoCentre Giving Circle is a new initiative for local people who share the EcoCentre’s values, concerns and ambitions about the environment and the climate and who want to make a lasting impact. By joining, you’re helping shape a more just and sustainable future — locally and globally.

We invite you to contribute at one of three giving tiers: 

• Dianella Member: $2,000 – $10,000
• Correa Member: $10,000 – $40,000
• Banksia Member: Over $40,000

All donations are fully tax deductible.

Giving Circle Member Benefits
As a member, you’ll be publicly acknowledged in our Annual Report and invited to exclusive EcoCentre activities.

• As a Correa or Banksia donor, you will also enjoy unique, behind-the-scenes experiences – such as private tours of the penguin habitat at St Kilda Pier or hands-on citizen science sessions..
• As a Banksia donor, you will receive additional, personalised benefits - including the opportunity to have a room within the new EcoCentre named in your honour. 

Our Impact
Each year, the EcoCentre connects over 15,000 people through hands-on education, research and action.

EcoCentre participants report as a result of their involvement:
