Genessee & Wyoming Australia have very kindly donated locomotive 850 and grain hopper wagon HAN3 to our Port Lincoln Railway Museum. Together these two items will provide a permanent reminder of the importance of rail to the agriculture industry on Eyre Peninsula.
To ensure that they are protected from the elements (and vandalism), the Museum needs to provide a substantial shelter structure. Plans and development applications have been approved, now all we need are the funds to crane the items to their permanent position and build the shed around them.
Please help us ensure the preservation of these historic items which are highly significant in the history of Eyre Peninsula.
