HorsePower Australia (previously RDAWA) is a registered voluntary, charitable not-for-profit organisation. We rely on the generosity of West Aussies to provide equine assisted programs that transform the physical health and emotional wellbeing of people living with diversabilities.
Since the threat of COVID-19 all HorsePower Therapeutic Centres have had to close their gates. This means that vital and crucial income required to maintain our day to day operations is no longer coming in from our programs and no government subsidies available to provide the feed and care our 125 assistance horses and ponies need to survive the crisis.
With no clear direction on when we will be able to resume our programs, some centres may face the heatbreaking decision to close their gates fro good resulting in children, young people and adults with diversabilities not being able to access our life-changing programs.
The Help our Horses emergency campaign will assist us in providing much needed support to centres in need.
