Reaching New Heights for Hospice Care
On Friday, 6th March 2026, from 6 AM to 9 AM, we’re hoisting Fraser Coast’s boldest bosses high into the sky - all for a great cause!
Join us at Hervey Bay Hotel as we raise our leaders (literally) to help us reach our $60,000 fundraising goal. Each boss will be sent up in a cherry picker or scissor lift and won’t come down until they’ve secured at least $3,000 in donations.
This high-energy, crowd-favourite fundraising event challenges local bosses, community or team leaders to step up for their community by being hoisted into the air in a Cherry Picker or Scissor Lift with only one way back down: raising funds for hospice care.Fraser Coast Hospice provides fee-free inpatient palliative care to people living with a terminal illness. This essential service relies heavily on community fundraising to continue supporting patients and families with dignity, compassion and care.
Why Support Fraser Coast Hospice?
Fraser Coast Hospice is a fee-free inpatient facility that provides specialist palliative care for community members over 18 with a terminal illness. While we receive some government funding, we must raise one-third of our annual $2.17 million operating costs to keep our doors open. Your support helps us continue providing compassionate care for those in need.
How It Works:
- Bosses can start fundraising anytime - get a head start before event day!
- Secure a minimum of $3,000 to come back down to solid ground.
- The highest fundraiser gets an exclusive reward and earns the honor of hosting Hoist Ya Boss 2026 at their business!
- Enjoy the fun! And breakfast and refreshments will be available for purchase on the morning.
