RIA is dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities and mental health challenges in Cairns, Townsville, Yarrabah, Mareeba, Ayr, Ingham, Charters Towers, and the Atherton Tablelands. Over the past 20+ years, we've proudly assisted more than 4,200 people with various social issues, including appealing NDIS and QCAT matters, Human rights complaints, systemic advocacy, homelessness, employment, child safety, Queensland health and other service navigation, as well as providing education and sessions to ensure their voices are heard.
Our Board of Management, comprised of over 80 passionate members, stands for social justice, equity, and the inherent rights of all people with disabilities. As a professional and quality-assured organisation under the National Standards for Disability Services, we strive to make a lasting impact.
