How will the funds be used?
- To fund a monthly Brain Tumour Support Group.
- To provide financial assistance to Brain Tumour people, their family, and carers.
- To fund Brain Tumour Research.
Key areas of expenditure
- Tea, Coffee, nibblies on Brain Tumour Support night.
- Assist with medication expenses not covered by PBS up to $3,000 per person per year. One medication, alone, costs $20,000 to $25,000.
- Fund a research studentship in brain tumour currently costing $5,000 per year.
