Since our establishment in 1979, Kidsafe has been dedicated to reducing the number of unintentional injuries and deaths among Australian children.

Back then, over 700 Australian children tragically lost their lives each year due to preventable incidents - that’s over 13 children every week. Today, thanks to our efforts and the support of people like you, that number has decreased to around 150. 

While this is a significant achievement, there are still 3 families every week who lose a child due to a preventable injury. That’s three too many. Every child is precious and we need your help to progress towards our ultimate goal of zero preventable child deaths.

With a collective goal of $4,500, whether you can help with a one off $45 donation, or if you are in a position to help by becoming a monthly $45 donor, your contribution will help us continue our vital work in keeping kids safe.

Your $45 donation will directly contribute to our ongoing efforts to empower Victorian families with practical strategies and knowledge of how to keep our kids safe. Here's how your support can make a difference:

• Deliver educational programs and workshops - including free child car restraint checking days, swimming lessons, first aid courses, and community awareness campaigns - to parents and carers.
• Advocate for policies, standards, and initiatives that promote child safety in the community.
• Support families with lived experiences to create legacy programs in memory of their children, helping to raise awareness and save lives.
