Each year, 22 Year 7 students (11 girls and 11 fellas) arrive at MITS. They attend our MITS school for two years (Years 7-8). After completing Year 8, students transition into one of our 12 Melbourne Pathways Schools from Years 9-12. Thoughout their high school years, students live in one of our four MITS boarding houses.
As of 2024, we have over 80 students in Years 7-12 living in a MITS boarding house, all within 150 metres of each other, creating a connected community of Indigenous students right in the heart of Melbourne.
