Since 2004, Murray Valley Sanctuary Refugee Group have been assisting refugees through UNHCR to settle in Albury-Wodonga in order that they can achieve independence and integration, and get on with their lives after decades of waiting in refugee camps and urban slums.
Funds donated will directly help new arrivals through:
• assistance with housing, education, language and cultural activities for sponsored refugees;
• enabling more refugee families to receive our support;
• providing interest-free loans for airfares and settlement expenses.
