This year, we are asking our community to help us reach our goal of $10,000 for an additional car.
Community transport is an important part of tackling social isolation, maintaining well-being and enabling people to access health services. As the pandemic took hold, our services became a lifeline for even more people who were unable to leave their homes. We saw an increased need for our vital door-to-door transport services for hospital, medical, dental and allied health appointments to residents in the Woollahra LGA. This year alone, we have made over 11,000 trips!
To meet this increased demand, a new car will allow us to provide a further 2,000 essential trips for people who are unable to leave their home in our community.
