We are run by a passionate group of volunteers. We have big goals for our performers and for our little Fringe festival and believe that Newcastle and the incredible creative talent we have here, has the potential to put Newcastle on the map as one of the most exciting Fringe Festivals in the country.

During the month of October, Newcastle Fringe is committed to taking part in the Creative Australia AusArt Day (October 23), dedicated to raising funds to support artists and sharing the joy of performing arts with those in our community who may not have the capacity to attend otherwise. Our Giving Day target is $5,000 — that’s more than 150 free tickets put directly into the hands of people who need them.
Fringe is about freedom, fun and fearless creativity. We keep ticket prices low, but cost and access are still real barriers for some in our community. Fringe for All! removes those barriers, opening doors and building new audiences.
When you donate, you’re not just buying a ticket — you’re creating a memory, sparking inspiration, and reminding someone that the arts are for them too. Thanks for your donation, your support is more valuable than you realise.
