The Northern Rivers Wildlife Hospital is about to open, providing life-saving care to injured, sick and orphaned native animals across the region.

In the Northern Rivers, countless native animals suffer from injuries, illness, and displacement each year. Without specialised care, many of these animals won’t survive. Our region is home to some of Australia’s most unique and vulnerable wildlife – but right now, local carers, vets and wildlife hospitals are under a huge amount of pressure - There are simply not enough facilities, staff and resources to meet the demand. 

The Northern Rivers Wildlife Hospital (NRWH) and DR WILD are on a mission to change that.

Will you answer our wildlife's call for help?

By becoming a Wildlife Hospital Hero with a monthly donation, you will provide essential medical supplies, food and treatment for the animals that come through our doors every day. 

Your donation helps our community-owned wildlife hospital;

• Provide medical care for injured and sick wildlife
• Keep our hospital stocked with essential medicine and equipment
• Feed and rehabilitate animals in our care
• Support Vets and Carers working to save native species

$20 a month buys specialised milk for orphaned wildlife

$30 a month provides pain relief to several patients during their hospital stay

$50 a month helps cover the cost of an X-ray to diagnose injured birds and mammals

$100 a month feeds the injured animals in our care

$200 a month grows our Hospital and allows us to see more patients every day

With your monthly support, we’ll be able to give injured wildlife a second chance and create lasting change for future generations. Every donation helps us open and equip a hospital that will serve animals across the Northern Rivers, including Ballina, Byron, Lismore, Kyogle, Richmond Valley, Tweed, and the Clarence Valley.
