Help us reconstruct one of the original conservatories at Rippon Lea Estate
We are nearly there and are now seeking assistance from supporters like you to help us get this exciting reconstruction project completed. Your donation will be used to help us to construct the floor, walls and roof of this adaptable and multi-purpose space.
Having now obtained the necessary heritage permits, reconstruction drawings and engineering reports, the National Trust is almost ready to commence reconstructing the conservatory, close to its original position near the Rippon Lea stables.
The conservatory, designed with decorative metal arches that span the width of the structure, with a combination of clear and solid sheeting, will be a magnificent aesthetic space, and will further add to the wider interpretation of Rippon Lea Estate.
Once reconstructed, the conservatory will be many things-a multi-purpose, accessible venue that will include beautiful plants, and used by the community for programs, events, meetings and catered functions.
