We strive to keep Victoria's past alive for generations to come and share and protect our state’s history through monthly events, our collection, our #PMIBookClub and our Family History Workshops. We aim to make all of Victoria’s history in its multifaceted voices accessible to you. 

Your donation this year is more important than ever. Did you know that our microfilm and microfiches collections, along with our VHS tapes and audio tapes are reaching the end of their lives? And that soon video providers aren’t even going to produce DVDs of their content? Without DVDs, libraries won't easily be able to provide access to the video, and historical, content contained within.

Ephemera collection

These collections encompass cemetery registers, newspapers, hospital indexes, birth and death records, local history videos, oral history, pamphlets, brochures and booklets, and our extremely popular Sands and McDougall resources.

At our library, you will always have access, as we own all our digital material. We hope we can count on your support to continue to make it accessible in the library (and eventually to you at home).
