VICSES Portland Unit

Victoria State Emergency Service (VICSES) is a volunteer based organisation providing emergency assistance to minimise the impact of emergencies and strenghten the communities capacity to plan, respond and recover, when emergencies occour.

The Portland Unit is a small team of very dedicated volunteers that provide professional emergency services to the Portland and surrounding areas 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. From Road, beach, cliff and industrial rescues to flood and storm emergencies, to assisting Victoria Police with a missing persons search, our volunteers are always there to turn out with great committment, pride and passion for the work we do.

We also volunteer at community events such as ANZAC Day, the Upwelling Festival, Narrawong mouth2mouth run/walk and visit local schools and Kindergartens.

Your support will enable us to continue to provide our volunteers with the equipment and training they need, to assist our community.
